Neurotheology Article

Discuss this fairly new field of neuroscience which is beginning to provide plausible explanations for experiences once thought of as mystical. Topics such as god, religion, temporal lobe, magnetic solenoids. epilepsy, hyper-religiosity, ghosts, hallucinations, near death experiences, the "white light" and more may be discussed here.

There are now six lectures on Neurotheology online at Google Video.

You can access them here: http://www.shaktitechnology.com/Video_lectures.htm

While these videos are not without their imperfections (it was a very
low-budget series of productions), they do offer an extended (10
hr.)treatment of neurotheology from a 'new age' perspective (the only one
that can encompass both the eastern traditions of enlightenment and western
traditions concerning God). This does make some of the ideas in the lecture
a bit speculative, but they are intended for spiritual people more than
academic colleagues.
